
Barry Lindon Gear Cutting
Barry Lindon has 45 years experience in gear cutting, beginning his apprenticeship at Browns Cov Ltd in Coventry, England at the age of 16. By age 30 he was production superintendent for the company responsible for technical aspects of gear manufacture. Browns Cov Ltd produced gears for companies such as Massey Ferguson, JCB, International Harvester, British Leyland and many more. In 1981 Barry moved to New Zealand, where he has been instrumental in the successful setting up of several gear companies throughout the country. In 2001 he established his own company, Barry Lindon Gear Cutting Ltd, providing high quality gears, primarily servicing industry in Christchurch.
Barry's gears are found in machinery from Invercargill to Auckland. His gears are also found in cars taking part in vintage car rallies across Europe. For more information on gear cutting click here.
